Our Process

Schedule an Introductory Call

Fill out our form below and our owners will give you a quick call to learn more about your family- this call usually lasts 15-20 minutes and will allow us a snapshot into your care needs, as well as the ability to share our agency’s placement process.

After our introductory call we will send you a detailed application to fill out before our next step!

In Home Meeting

We feel that a vital part of helping families secure their absolute best match is an initial in-home meeting. This gives us a clear perspective of your needs and will help us find the right candidates to send your way. Following our intro call, we will schedule this 45-60 minute meeting where you will introduce us to your family and home and we will partner with you to create a detailed job listing. At this meeting we will provide a packet of preemployment materials to set you up for success.

All Systems Go

As soon as we get the green light from you and process our initial search fee, we launch our quest for your perfect candidate. This process begins when we cast a net into our pool of awesome nannies and begin vetting and screening! We adhere to a meticulous review process that includes a thorough application, an extensive interview, comprehensive background checks, and verifying past employment and all references. 

Presenting Your Potential Nannies

At this point we will send you our short list of compatible candidates that align with your needs- this will include a few different documents that allow great insight into each caregivers’ strengths and experience. Once you’ve had a chance to review the candidates and have made a selection of who you’d like to interview, we will make virtual introductions and leave arranging an in person interview time to your convenience.

The Ship Has Landed

You’ve met an amazing nanny! Once you have offered the position, it is time to negotiate a contract. We will supply a contract from our partner at A to Z Nanny, but we try to give space for families and nannies to craft a contract that feels mutually beneficial. We are here to help you navigate any questions that come up.

In the meantime, we highly suggest all families offer a paid trial day or week to make sure it feels like an excellent fit for both parties!

Ongoing Support

We provide ongoing support for our families and nannies with regular check-ins and resources provided in our blog. It is always our hope that every placement goes smoothly, but we also understand that life happens! We are a call away and happy to discuss any issues that arise.

Pricing

At Constellation Care NW, we strive to offer straightforward, fixed-rate pricing for our long-term placements. This allows you to make informed decisions with ease, while also not paying exorbitant placement costs based on a percentage of your caregiver’s annual gross income (typically 16-18% in the Seattle Area), which is the model many agencies utilize. We also believe in offering accessible pricing so that more families can make use of our recruitment services, ensuring an amazing fit for their family’s unique needs. All the while, we invest more resources into our families and nannies- such as subsidized classes for our nannies to grow their expertise and resumes, and partnerships with contract and payroll specialists to offer you better coverage to benefit your employer-employee relationship for the long-haul.

  • Search Fee: $400, non-refundable

    Placement Fee: $4,600 

    Launch Discount- as part of our agency launch, we are offering 15% off your placement fee for all long-term placements secured by April 30th!  

  • Interim/Short-Term Placements (10 to 20 weeks)

    Search Fee: $500

    Placement Fee: $40/day

    For our interim placements for Nannies, Family Assistants, and Household Managers, we are currently only placing positions for 30+ hours per week with a 10 week minimum. We are happy to connect you with other local agencies should a need arise for on-call care or for a shorter duration.

  • A four month guarantee is included in our long-term placements.

    For returning clients we offer a 15% off our placement fee.

Vetting Potential Candidates

This includes criminal, motor vehicle, social security, and work authorization clearances, as well as an in-depth review of social media activity and online behavior. All screening details are shared with your family to ensure complete transparency and peace of mind.

Our exclusive candidate pool ensures you’re connected with top-tier professionals. We screen out the majority of applicants and rarely post jobs publicly, as we can often fill positions quickly from our internal network of highly qualified candidates.
